We are excited to announce the retirement of our company's founder, Bryan Simpson. 

Starting in the fire protection industry in 1989 as a lowly kitchen hood cleaner.

Bryan worked hard and built strong relationships with his customers, many of which still last to this day. 

In 2000 he took a position with another company as a project supervisor for large scale special hazard fire systems that gave him the unique opportunity to travel the world. 

By 2005, he had the desire to come back to his home in Southwest Virginia and open his own business. 

In November of 2005 Hy-Test, Inc was born. 

Though his dedication and leadership, Hy-Test prospered even during tough economic environments. 

As 2023 came to a close, Bryan decided it was time to step back from the industry he spent nearly five decades helping to shape. Focusing more on his granddaughter, Izzy, and his hobbies.

We are so proud of you Bryan/Dad/Pop-Pop, and we cant wait to see what your next chapter will hold!
